The Concorso d’Eleganza Festival Car 2024, now in its third edition, has followed up the success of the first two iterations of the kermesse born in 2022. The wonderful village of Revigliasco Torinese has been the stage of a static and dynamic exhibition of classic cars for the third year in a row, reaching in 2024 almost 100 vehicles. All the cars and their passionate owners gathered together in the near Castello Reale di Moncalieri, from which a parade started to bring the cars from the Castle to the streets of Revigliasco.
As seen in the previous editions, the Festival Car 2024 hosted cars of all sorts, proposing to the public vehicles for all tastes, from real automotive icons for enthusiasts of any age to legendary sportscars of all times.
The third edition of Festival Car hosted the “Tributo Maserati” as this year’s special category, made to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the Tridente. The 1967 Maserati Quattroporte I was awarded with the prize by the quality jury, formed by over 10 leading figures of the automotive world.
Some of the traditional categories of the Turinese kermesse were also confirmed, from the Senior Award dedicated to wonderful “old ladies” with over 60 years of age to the sportscars of the Top Class Award, with the Autoappassionati.it Award, assigned to the 1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 by the editorial staff of the web magazine that every year oraganises the Concours d’Elegance. The most anticipated prize, the Best of Show Award, was won by the Lancia Aurelia B52 Coupé Bertone, a one-off reappeared after over 70 years passed far from the radars of the world’s automotive world.
In addiction to a level of the cars higher than ever, there was no lake of the audience, with over 3.000 people that rushed to spend a sunny day in the name of the passion for classic cars.
The Festival Car 2024 received the support and the official patronage of the major organizations of the car industry, like ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano) and FIVA (Federation Internationale Vehicules Anciens), and also from the local institutions, from the Municipality of Moncalieri and the Piemonte Region.
