We are pleased to announce a new important professional partnership between FIVA and InterClassics. Based in the Netherlands, this is the organization behind the classic car show held annually since 1994 at the MECC Maastricht exhibition center of Maastricht. It is the first classic car fair of the season and usually takes place on the second or third weekend of January.
InterClassics is the largest fair of its kind within the Benelux, with over 300 exhibitors and more than 35,000 visitors. Since 2015, the classic car show has also been held in November in Brussels and has been evolving ever since. The organization expects around 30,000 visitors. Both fairs distinguish themselves by maintaining a high standard in presentation as well as the quality and variety of the exhibited cars. One of the main features of the show is the annual theme, in which the organization presents a themed collection of – often rare - automobiles. Among the themes were: “100 Years Le Mans,” “120 Years Ford Performance,” “Dutch Grand Prix Classics,” and “Jacky Ickx 75 Years,” just to name a few. In addition to this themed area, the show floor offers space for professional and private car dealers, car restorers, and the sale of automobilia and other automotive products.
The upcoming events in Brussels and Maastricht are respectively held from Friday, November 15 through Sunday, November 17, in the Patio and Palais 4, 5, and 6 of Brussels Expo. More information can be found here: www.Interclassics.events/en/30jaar
With this agreement, Interclassics joins several other major fair organisers supporting FIVA: from the German Technoclassica Essen and RetroClassic Stuttgart, to the Italian Auto e Moto d’Epoca based in Bologna. The FIVA Professional network is an ever growing reality, which encompasses car manufacturers, events organisers, museums and various kinds of professional entities, devoted to the protection, preservation and promotion of the world motoring heritage.
